Hello, my name is Lewis, my story has divorce, domestic violence, drug abuse, and ends in salvation. I grew up in a single parent family with a Mother that work all the time in a meat packing house and her boyfriend that provide for their drug abuse. With drug abuse came the domestic violence and the sleepless night listening to them fight. As I grew older I became the in-house referee for their fights. At the age of fifteen I moved out of the house. Lucky God had a plan for me. God had a way of putting positive adults in my life to help reach my life’s goals. I lived with many different people throughout high school each had a Godly purpose for my development. From Skip and Steve who taught to be a strong confident person. Then, Marcia who taught me to dream big and to put your faith in Jesus. Jesus and I started our personal relationship in my second year of college at a Super Bowl party put on by a local Assembly of God. Reggie White gave his testimony during the half-time film. At that time I asked Jesus for forgiveness of sins. Jesus is working on me to this day to help over come my struggles of being a Husband, Father of three, business owner, and mentor to troubled youth. My plate is full but He has just begun a work on my life. Why don’t you let Him work in your life?
