I was a child, but I was a sinner. I heard the good news at church about the fact that I could go to heaven. John 3:16 says “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes (trusts) in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.” I put my faith in Jesus and I knew that only trusting in what He did on the cross could get me to heaven. He took the punishment for my sins and everyone else’s. God is answering prayers for me and comforting me in times when I need comfort. He will never forsake me. Without Him, life would be so empty.
