I am a military child. My dad is an active duty Marine. I grew up listening to him cursing a lot. I heard both my parents get into arguments a lot. Sometimes I was kept up listening to them argue. I was 8. My mom and brothers and I were leaving my dad in San Diego. We were moving to Brighton, Tennessee to live with my grandma and great uncle. Summer of 2015. We went to a fireworks show at my church. Our pastor Brother Steve Gaines got up and shared the invitation and I was one of the people who prayed and received Christ. I was only in second grade at the time. I got baptized on July 26th, 2025 with my older brother Cris. We were both baptized on that day. I had a lot of family there. My dad who was not a believer at the time went to watch us get baptized. Then here today I am feeling called to ministry and to go on mission trips. I have a lot of people that I look up to and who mentor me. I helped with Pre-K and 4th and 5th grade before I started going to classes full time. I have great Christian friends and family. My dad is now a Christian. My little brother got baptized two years ago. I have a lot of atheist friends whom I am feeling led to share Christ with.
